Introduction to Bordeaux: charity tasting of good, young entry-level wines (mainly 2018) : From 75cl, closure not seen, opened 90 minutes. Medicocre, dilute Barsac. Sweet muscadelle with a hint of botrytis; light bodied, cloying despite not being very sweet; insipid finish. Good Sauternes/Barsac is so underpriced there seems little point in buying stuff like this, unless you happen to be a restauranteur looking to maximize your profit-margin beyond any other considerations. 84P
