Solid cab for the price

A no-brainer pairing with roast beef, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. A slightly sour note on the nose, almost reminiscent of sour cream. (Reminded of that because it was in my wife's mashies tonight.) Along with the sour, there's some bramble. On the tongue, it's rich fruit with some smoke and spice. A very enjoyable wine.
