When first opend the wine tasted fruity, raspberry with a hint of sweat. As it fades light tannins appear. The tannins leave the mouth dry. After 40 minutes in the glass the wine opens up and becomes even more fruity. the sweatness disappears. Tannins are much tamed down but the tail still leaves the mouth dry. Decided to decant the wine for an hour before the meal. Had roast pork, baked potato, and fresh green beans. After the 1 hour, …

This is what it is. A fairly simple, youngish, fruit forward wine that tastes delicious. Probably some, or maybe a lot of whole cluster fermentation. Deep, almost black color. Jammy, but at the same time civilized and earthy nose. Not designed to be complex, there are few tannins, no oak, and just enough acidity to keep things balanced and interesting. Soft, easy on the palate mostly black, but some red fruit keeps making you want to take another sip.

Un-oaked. Big rich fruit, easy on the palate.

Very silky light wine with smooth tannins and jammy flavors. Luscious and easy to drink. Pairs well with game-- lamb, sausage and duck

very good for the price. Grenache blended with Syrah, mixing the lighter fruits of the former with the richness and darker fruits and spices of the latter. Easy to drink, but might be better with a piece of meat.

Good bottle of wine for the money. purple and violet colored. The nose is subdued with notes of herbs and cloves. There is a green pepper taste with spicy and leather. Some darker fruit is hidden behind the earthiness. Not bad for 6 bucks but no varietal characteristic.
