Patrick Cabernet Merlot Wrattonbully

{screwcap, 14%} Straightforward cabernet-blend, quite fruity but not overdone, a bit simple but not crude. Mulberry/currant flavours, quite youthful; fairly soft texture with soft fuzzy tannins. Medium weight, short-medium legnth finish. Can a wine taste as though it's made with young vines? I dunno. But the thought crosed my mind drinking this. It was prefectly serviceable except that it seemed to lack real focus and intensity; it was just a little bit dilute to favourable impress.
