First bottle in a wee while after discovering a few that I'd forgotten about. Still plenty of life; the DIAM helping in this regard. Nose has touches of lime zest, some stony minerality and hints of honeysuckle. Palate is refreshing with a deep lime oil character that emerges after 10 seconds. Good acidity here. Great QPR.

Great QPR. Medium bodied, supple texture, good mix of acid and minerality. Not fruity per se, but plenty of citrus to hold things in balance. No oak, aged in stainless.

This is a nice Chardonnay that is very nice for the address and price. Nice acid on the front with subtle citrus and a little spice or mint. Nice mouthfeel. A hint of something earthy or herbal (verbena?) on the nose. Would happily buy more.

The bottle was quite tired and suffering from oxidation. The cork was creased and allowed oxygen. A second bottle was opened, not quite as bad but it was also showing premature aging. Another creased cork. The corker jaws at the time of bottling were malfunctioning. I would avoid this bottling as this bottling defect is probably widespread in the lot. Too bad as I usually like this wine.

Tangy and crisp, this light yellow Chardonnay delivers lime-tinged apple, mineral and spice on both the nose and palate. Light-bodied, seamlessly alcoholic (13%) and holding its flavors nicely in the middle, it concludes with a tart, medium-length finish. This is another excellent value from Kermit Lynch. Drink now-2018.
