Nice midweight pinot though high acid keeps from being balanced. Likely opened too early - let it go a year or two.

voluptuous fruit forward wine but without the heaviness that turns me away garnet, cherry, ripe strawberries, its trajectory is a beauty, theres depth from start to finish with an underlayer that takes care of a pinot craving

Concentrated, almost big Somewhat juicy, no finish Black raspberry, maybe mulberry Très California Understand the approbation, but not tasting an evolution, yin/yang, or faceted jewel; it's just there, 2D Day 2 loosens, some non-ruinous grapefruit zest 3 more cherry, oddly less grapefruit, decent finish @$50, undoes some of the goodwill the 2013 Elevations engendered. That 90 is a normal tariff for this is just Dutch tulip madness

PNP. Light color. Obvious new world Pinot w cherry spice and some heat. Lighter style and much less oak than previous vintages which makes it easier to pair. Nice

Grand American Pinot as it were. Big fruit, big palate, but still, that is darn fun.

No details but I would say the same of this as I did of the '00. very nice wine but wouldn't have necessarily guessed pinot if tasted blind.

1.5L; from a consistently stellar producer [and also a good friend], this showed well; abundant fresh fruitiness with some basil, spice touches, firm tannins and nice mouthfeel; fine wine with time to go.

Luscious with deep red fruits, all kinds and great finish. Still 1-2 years at this level to go.

Expected this to be singing from the get go but it wasn't. I really needed a couple of hours to open up and then it was very good. Tasted next to a Dehlinger 2007 Goldridge and the Dehl was a little better.

Lot's of strawberry and bright red fruits. Showed good balance and generous fruit. Good in a bigger forward way but was hoping for more complexity. Well enjoyed by the group.

Muy excellente. Our penultimate bottle, this one is perfumed and light and intrusive, all at the same time.

Still an astounding bottle of pinot; probably among the best of the numerous excellent Talley efforts.

Simply fantastic. Everything that you want from a great pinot. Expressive nose with cherries and strawberry, some spice and just a subtle hint on pinot funk. The palate is smooth, luxurious - liquified cherry laced with strawberry and just a hint of some blueberry. A spice kick finishes the mid-palate and the wine lingers with red fruited scents. Quite an impressive performance for an 8-9 year old CA Pinot. I wish I had more but alas, this was the final …

A bit less penetrating than previous bottles, but a lovely bottle of wine with an ethereal nose and a light, present, round mouth. Roses and other flowers, some dense earth. The length is smooth and long, if (to be picky) a bit on the lush side - not yet lightened up. Nonetheless, in spite of a bit of quibbling, a truly lovely bottle that deserves every accolade.

An amazing bottle, and I'm surprised that I've been so consistent with my notes on this wine. The nose wafts out of the glass, and is intriguingly interesting and very, very present. The mouth tingly and very well balanced, with light, twiggy earth and dirt and ethereal dried cherries and purple flowers, and the length is good and penetrating. An excellent, excellent bottle of wine.

Pretty good when opened but really opened up after 2 hours of air.

Changed significantly over the course of the first hour. Becomes less sweet/cloying, and more tasty/interesting. The nose here seems very earthy and ethereal, a nice example. The mouth is fruity (dark dried cherries, dried flowers) and earthy, with a nice sense of balance from acid; not quite "ethereal" but very, very close. The length seems shorter than I would have expected given the rest of the wine, but it shows good fruit, good verve and good balance.

The nose here is vaguely muted (but only vaguely, and ony compared to recollections of this wine) but the mouth is rich and full (old time spices, plums, dried cherries and the like, but without the depth that I'd expect in an 95 point wine!) and the length is nice, vaguely fruity, and very sweet, almost to the point of saccharine but in a nice fashion.

Very perfumed- Violets and raspberries, especially as you cram your nose in the glass to suck out that sip of wine that awaits. The sip coats your mouth with a light, slightly tart, dried flower-y taste that is so hauntingly ethereal that you think that you might just float right away on it. The length drifts off too quickly for *my* comfort, but that's just quibbling. A fantastic bottle.

fabulous. smooth and flavorful, this delivers the goods. dark cherry/ blackberry/ nice pinecone + mushroom. a delight to drink now. i don't have any experience with aged tally pinots. i have generally been consuming them at about 5 years of age. will it develop/ get better? i don't care. highly recommended.
