Decanted. , Now, 1.5h after decant. Aromas of dark black, almost confectionary, cherries, ripe blackberries, a hint or ripe blueberries, herbs, sweet bark w a bit of a medicinal component. Palate w just ripe black cherries, medicinal bark, herbs, a bit of earth. Nice acids w significant tannins on midpalate add a good amount of structure to the wine. Medium+ body nice moderately long finish. This is good and complex but still w a lot of structure. Tasty now but …

An initial jolt of dark berry fruit gives way to strong deciduous forest floor (sous-bois) and earth elements. Tasted double blind, alongside a Brick House Gamay, and knew this was Burgundian. Acid and Cru Beaujolais dustiness are present in abundance. 89-90.

Had this bottle next to the Brick House gamay and was and interesting tasting experience. Very similar framework but this had a bit more fruit with earth, dust, and steeliness.

Delicious wine here with a nose full of earth, dust, spices, herbs, tart red fruits, on the palate more spices, crunchy red fruit and earthy overtones. Just what I want in a Cru Beaujolais.

Excellent BoJo. Nearly purple. Nose of black fruit, palate of wet stone and dark berry. Heady tannins that overwhelmed the finish. Good acidity. This needs a few years to tame itself but will likely be excellent. Will surely rate higher then.
