Musso, Barbaresco, Pora

Strawberry, rasberry and stone with a long puckering finish. A pretty wine. It will be interesting to see what happens to it in 2-3 years.

Ce soir on ouvrent un petit Barbaresco acheté il y a quelques années. Vraiment bien avec ces notes de fraises confiturées, prunes et figues. De belles notes de cacao, cerise, cuir avec des tannins toujours serrés et une acidité qui lui promet encore plusieurs belles années! Il semble vraiment s'améliorer avec l'aération, ce sera difficile de ne pas le boir trop vite 😉 Au final, ca demeure un peu court cependant.

I've opened this wine on the very early end of its drinking window. This wine is all structure. That is my main observation. It's not closed, but it won't unfold easily on the palette either. You have to work it. Every aspect of the wine is "strong" and balances other aspects out. Firm tannins, spices, earthy and dark berry notes and great acidity. Almost masculine for a Barbaresco. I wish I had another bottle to open another 7-years later

Lovely sophisticated stawberry on the rocks. It is so pretty now but I suspect it is still holding back a bit. Try again in a year.

Très agréable. Nez cerise vers grenat. Initialement nez légèrement alcooleux et de torréfaction type cuir huileux. Évolue vite vers plus de douceur notamment fruits rouges type canneberges, poivrons rouges. En bouche attaque acide en symbiose avec une élégance-austérité plaisante de fruits et tannins bien équilibrés, mais non entièrement intégrés. Très long. Dans une phase intéressante selon mes critères. Je conserverai la 2ème bouteille encore 18 mois ou un peu plus. Vin droit, bien fait, bon représentant de l’appellation.

Très beau vin. Au départ, les tanins sont rudes et très présents mais après 1 heure de carafe, tout s est assoupli. Le nez est expressif, du fruit, floral. En bouche, il est rond, belle ampleur et une belle finale fruitée. Très bon,

Justice needs to b done here. After reading a previous bad review here and having bought half a case based on the WS 94 points review; i was a bit of uncomfortable before opening the first bottle. Well turns out the ws guys were right, this is a solid 92-93 points wine BUT you need tho let it breathe for 2 hours in a decanter at this stage.
