A very elegant style here; fresh red berry fruits, some floral notes; light and airy in nature; not quite 1er cru concentration, but if it puts on a bit of weight with more time it will be quite nice.

Tasted like a good destemmed Bourgogne rouge. Candied red flowers. Nice texture now with resolved tannins already.

First taste of P Bouley and it was very nice; the nose was a bit closed at first, but after about 30 minutes opened to show classic and lovely Volnay; red fruits with floral and mineral tones, a bit of citrus peel and black tea; the palate was quite lovely and delicious as well; good depth and very fresh especially for the vintage. I will look to explore these wines more.
