Château Les Moines Bordeaux Supérieur

Another good Wine Society bottling. Blackcurrant leaf nose, faded but old-style claret aromas. It held up well over a 2-3 hour drinking period. Mature Bordeaux, a little faded but no oatmeal or chocolate to suggest it was over the hill. Light and a little thin perhaps but a soft cedar and light blackcurrant flavour fading to plummy. Decent - as good as hoped for.
