Sweet fruit with oak aromas, but luckily with good acidity and nice tannic grip. Ok for me, but if you're not into the "international style", try something else.

Pop and poured again. Drank well right away. Paired very well with pork chops with a fresh fig and ginger sauce. better with food. Great food wine that pairs well with many foods. In addition to the pork chop; the second course was pasta and eggplant in a porcini mushroom sauce.

Pop and Poured. Aroma of spice and big fruit. Taste of Cherry cough syrup on openning that evolved quickly to dried cherries and herbs. Did not change much after the first evolution to dried cherries. Worked well with a sweet red sauce. Would work with meats with a sweet sauce. Time to drink up as it won't get any better. DAY2: Better than Day 1 by far. The actual taste of the sangiovese. stood out. Would rate it an 88 …
