89: Great color and bouquet. Maybe just a bit past its prime but still excellent. Jammy flavors balanced by just the right mix of tannins and terroir. Good dark purple color without a brown tinge. Cork was in good condition especially considering the age.

Of all the California/WA Sangiovese I've had, this is by far the most "authentic" and true to the varietal. The cherry fruit is bright, the acidity strong, it's food friendly and could easily be confused with a super tuscan for sure. Great bottle.
