Quinta Dona Sancha Vinha da Avarenta Branco

Very light gold. Not your typical Dão nose....reminds more of an Alentejo white with ripe fruits, wet hay, little minerality and a flowery edge. The palate shows the flower note more proeminent together with the ripe fruit. There's also a smokiness coming through towards the acidic médium finish. There's a heaviness not so common in Dão in this pleasant drinking wine that could use a reduction in the price tag.
