Alluring bouquet. Ripe cherry, touch of licorice and smoke. Complex wine with smooth tannins. Light body, medium length finish.

Thin, cherry candy with some minerality. Some sips ok tasting. Drank over two days, both times seem to be in and out of giving me anything good on the palate. Probably past prime drinking window.

Solid flavor with an earthy balance to the hint of cherry and dates. It's light in body so not to be consumed with strong food. A nice summer patio wine which leaves you wanting for more. A great price value proposition.

Far, far away there is a hint of pinot noir on the nose. I don't like the palate either. 'dusty, alcoholic and lacking freshness and finesse. Not a very bad wine but it isn't a good pinot noir. But a miracle happened on day two. Much better on the nose and better on the palate too. More expressive with more freshness. Present alcohol but 10 points up to 87.

Very light ruby red that fades into a thick transparent rim with a reflective edge. The nose gives off fruity notes of ripe red berries, red licorice candy, bag leather, and smoke - unmistakably New World. The palate is light bodied with a silky texture. Flavors of candied cherry, cranberry, licorice, scorched earth, vanilla, and spice. Fresh and pure. Finishes with a hint of spice at the very end. Drink now until 2023.

This is a mediocre wine at best. This bottle was one of 3 Pinots on a fairly limited wine list at a popular local restaurant ($48). It has a garnet color and a nose of red berries. The wine tastes of cherries, raspberries, and strawberries; lacking any earthiness or funk that I associate with quality Pinots. It is fruity, but tastes thin and lacks complexity and character. The finish is weak, as well.

This light-to-medium ruby, light-bodied Pinot offers aromas and flavors of raspberries, tangerine and spice. Freshly acidic and seamlessly alcoholic (13.0%), it stays solid in the middle but is a bit clipped on the finish. Enjoy it with light fare. Drink now-2017.

Classic Oregon Pinot, lighter but correct color, good but not overpowering Pinot aromatics, with no apparent oak, lighter body with good tannin structure and ample acid. Very drinkable although not memorable. Decent value at $13. Looking at other reviews my caveat is: avoid if you want over ripe, heavy oak,alcoholic Pinot.

With the extremes in the reviews, it sounds like there may be quite a bit of bottle variation. This wine was OK, and perfectly fine to drink. Did not offend or excite. A solid "Good".

Not that fragrant for a Pinot but plenty of good fruit on the palate with mainly red berries, maybe bit of black cherry and some slight spice, earth and high acidity. This is $30 in Australia, if it were $20 it would be pretty good value.

This is an OK pinot, a bit light-bodied, tobacco, cherries & green pepper on the nose. Smooth. But it does lack character and the finish is short. A good pinot at a reasonable price is hard to find these days. And to top it off, an hour after a glass or two, this gives me a throbbing headache.

I wish I could rate it lower. I am so disappointed that in this day and age and with such a great vintage a mediocre wine as this could be produced by a Willamette producer. It is easy to drink but so is water. This is flavored alcoholic water without a character. Wasted $20.

Pale ruby in color, this wine shows muted red fruits of cherry pie, raspberry as well as subtle spices. The mouth feel is very light with predominate cherry and pomegranate elements. The finish is short with soft tannins and just enough acidity to hold it together. Purchased for $17US, this is a very basic Oregon PN and is overpriced for what it delivers. I've had many entry level OR PNs that are more complex and enjoyable.

Surprisingly decent considering its age, the way it was made, and the synthetic cork. A little vegetal, and some stewed fruit, but not too much. Slightly brickish in color. Not bad for an older OR Pinot but not great either.

With Nemecek ham and cheese grits this was a hit. The group agreed it was rounder and more pleasant than the Rex Hill King's Ridge of the same vintage. It is an easy drinking Pinot with few highs or lows- in short a girlie man wine. For the price it is hard to beat for a weekday Pinot.

Good balance, fruit is forward. Since they left the jalapenos off the pizza the wine paired better. I would think under $15 Oregon pinot this good is a value play.
