Definitely a California version of a Gran Selezione Chianti, by any standard, and in Del Dotto's standards, shows intense black fruit flavors, striking tannic structure and a memorable finish. At age 8 on the vintage, it's also going to age for another 10 years at least, improving every year. A memorable bottle, and unfortunately our last one.
