Lovely & interesting wine! Light garnet color, red berries, minerals & some herbs on the nose, soft on the tongue with good acidity and a very pleasant finish.

Very pretty nose in a way, but overall something wasn’t right. A bit of bitterness, and just confusing on the palate.

Pleasant light red that was very good with a variety of foods (cured meats, tomato sauce, balsamic). Not much nose, and the palate is primarily fresh red cherries and woody notes. The wine is aged in Chestnut barrels instead of Oak - so maybe that imparts the unique wood notes I pick up at the finish.

Eye: Pale ruby Nose: red fruit aromas of cranberry, raspberry, red cherry. milk, light cream. rock, granite. Youthful. Palate: dry, high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, light body, medium (-) flavor intensity. Slightly tart/sour red fruit, and spicey black pepper. Short finish Good quality Drink now, won’t age. No need to decant. No sediment. A good light red, goes well with sashimi. Vines grown in volcanic soil on a hot-by-day and cool-by-night Mediterranean island. Light, dry, refreshing with good acidity. …

Ruby color, clear and sound with quick and skinny legs. No sediment. An hour of air time let the fruit come to the fore and improved the palate quite a bit. Timid nose of crushed cherry and a little bit of oak. Light-bodied and reserved fruit with firm acidity and light, youthful tannins. Short and clean finish. It’s still rather brambly and candied, which could portend better days ahead. Decent table wine, but not much more. 4+9+15+7= 85

Fresh, nice fruit, restrained acidity. Fun Etna rosso at a nice price point.
