My guess is that this was never a very good bottle. Fruit is gone, Tannins are gone and I have to wonder if it ever had a finish. Still drinkable and I would give this an 80, but it is past its prime so officially - NR.

Nice brown-orange color, 12% abv. On the nose, soil, mint, mushroom, more floral than I would have thought, dried cassis fruit, and a mustiness. On the palate, the fruit is mostly dried up, and as time goes on, it becomes less and less prominent. not well balanced; tanins intact but will not improve with age; that said, it drank nicely for a just ok wine with Salmon.

A pleasantly, simple wine. About ready to come into its own with the tannins still present and just a hint of secondary characteristics.

Much better than first tasting two years ago, but still not a very exciting or interesting Bordeaux, even for the price. The cabernet seems predominate. Reserved fruit, some oak. Terrible with Mediterranean style food like saffron rice with roasted tomato
