A disappointing drop. I am perplexed how this receives a 95 score from Halliday. Is my palate really so underdeveloped? Very little fruit notes and an over dry finish complete this lacklustre cab sav. Given time, I reckon I could develop better in my garden. Bland, very bland. Admittedly, this is apparently a good example of its regional variety, but if I wanted a good Cab Sav, I'd be sticking with Turkey Flat, Heartland, Petaluma, all great examples, albeit South …
