This was a much, much better showing than a bottle a couple years ago. While that seemed a bit tight, this was more open on the nose and palate, with a sense that it still has more to give. 91-92ish

Bought direct from the winery. As these Patton Valley wines age, I tend to like them less. This particular wine is showing better than the rest. Color. Translucent dark red Nose. Cola, cherry, cinnamon, clove, cardamom. Palate. Cherries, leather, Dr pepper, cranberry. It's round and not full acidity. It feels unbalanced and yet the finish is persistent. This wine is a conundrum. Interesting none the less.

Still very good, earthy but good fruit and balance, ok bouquet, light color, drank easily but good complex flavors,drank with ribs, salmon, corn, corn bread and cauliflower, last bottle, never seen this wine anywhere.

2nd tasting and much more impressed. Very well made. Due to the balance, acidity and quality of winemaking, this wine has a future. 12/14/2020 — Medium brickish red. Spicy nose and flavors of cinnamon, plum and raspberry compote. Very attractive and quite clean. A bit of dusty tannin in the end indicates it has some years ahead of it. Pretty good stuff, nice fruit , good bouquet, light color, light to medium body, good acid to balance, drank with Chinese stir fried lamb and veggies, a great value especially for the Willamette Valley, will drink again
