Seven Apart Cabernet Sauvignon Summit

Napa Daytrip, Oct 2025 (Napa) : Tasted at the winery. All wines were given reasonable air before serving. Spiced hot chocolate, elaichi (cardamom), graphite and pencil shavings. Also slight clove with dark plum and raspberry notes. This is shockingly approachable for such a young wine and I'm sure will become fantastic over time. 93+ points.

Recommend a longer decant than 2 hours. A very good wine, which might have garnered an even higher score with 6+ hours in a decanter (or another 5-8 years of bottle age).
