Brown sugar nose. Stemmy, sappy, medium acid with tasty red and black fruit in the background. Notable tannic grip but approachable now with tine to breath. 13.5% Alc. Good now but has the stuffing to evolve positively. 16’ was a challenging vintage in many parts of Burgundy, but I keep finding things to like.

Classic Burgundy bouquet with dark fruit and toasty aromas. Light and sappy. Some baked vintage characters. 90-91
