Francois Rousset-Martin Pinot Noir Voyage au bout de Nuits

A bit bretty, apple cider vinegar, acetylaldehyde. Sadly this sits over some pretty good juice. 2/2 in the completely off balanced group in the wines acquired to investigate this producer. This is frankly harsh and severe. 30 min in the mouse taint shows more vigorously. A natural wine mess

Savory and earthy nose with dark cherries, funk, and on the nose. Nice acidity with red fruit, dusty tannins, and more earth flavors on the palate. Good finish. Interesting natural Pinot!

Second bottle of this and just as interesting/tasty. Pretty red pinot fruit, with touch of Jura funkiness. Good acidity and balance. Tasty stuff.

Pinot vines from NSG. Cool red fruit, with a funky/bretty note. Medium acidity and tannins that seems well balanced. This is easy drinking and yet enough complexity to keep it interesting.
