Amazingly great, and still tastes young. Poured two glasses and it was wonderful - huge, deep flavors, great balance, wonderful fruit, but super tight. Two hours later, aerated and was even better, but still tight. This one needs at least another two years - and we can't imagine how great it will be then.

Inky purple, opaque. Almost black color. Nose had lots of green bell pepper, a little smoke, licorice, spice. Tasted vegetal too, though both the aroma and taste faded with time open. Some blackberry, plum, currant. Decent balance, with soft tannins and heat, but the fruit is muted too. Average length finish. color 5/5 aroma 6/10 taste 13/20 balance 7/10 finish 3/5
