Bright light ruby / garnet in color. A rollercoaster ride of winemotions, feigning Napa cab to kick off — with a buttery and salted caramel nose (almost burnt caramel) from the oak — and a Burgundian presence in the glass, showing eventually a unique fresh / ripe / cool cherry palate and nose. Clearly young, showing hints of what this beauty of a Saumur red could turn into in the coming years. @ Chambers

PnP. Med>Dark in color. Nose of black currants and some spices, as well as some cellar funk. Lighter on the palate than expected. Had without any food. I'm guessing we drank it too young and hoping it gains weight.
