Goodfellow Family Cellars Pinot Noir Bishop Creek Vineyard

Decanted for two hours, then drank over an additional three hours. Surprised how young the wine still seemed. Had tart cherry, some earthiness and good acidity. As time passed wine softened with additional tertiary flavors. Last glass was definitely the best, just a wonderful wine. Will hold remaining bottle.

Solid, finely constructed Pinot with strong acidic core. Strong earth character mixed with shell and tart cherry flavors. Still very young but really enjoyable now if you are ok with acidic narrow wines. Sorry it was my last bottle

His is quite enjoyable, but still quite young. Lovely cherry character mixed with forest notes. Quite fresh. Very much Oregon.

Has a nice caramel nose. Good fig, bitter cherry and pepper flavor that i think will age nicely over a few years.

My wife opened this a few days ago and corked half and left in fridge. After warming, color ruby. Nose is mostly sous bois w some high toned cherry cranberry fruit. Swishing shows both acid and tannin structure, but these are in perfect balance with the fruit. Sipping shows more fruit and and poised lengthy finish. These guys know how to make serious Pinot noir. Almost 2yrs from my last bottle. Brilliant red color. Followed over 4hrs or so. Nose was quite shy with some tart/bitter red cherry character and some whole-cluster influence. Palate had repeating red cherry fruit, deeper with a slightly more plush character than the nose would hint and a fine acidic backbone. Needs more time for sure but I'm digging Marcus's take on a warmer site and a bigger wine. Fuller in flavor and color but nice weight to it. Very balanced and flavorful. I'm impressed. I have avoided this bottling in the past but I'm a fan.

Pnp. Cork perfect. Dark ruby color. Nose w cherries and spice and maybe a hint of TCA or just iodine. Swishing shows great acid structure and some tannin. Sipping shows slippery mouthfeel and polished fruit.

Beautiful candy red color. Nice expressive nose of black cherry and spice. Palate has a plushness/ripeness to the fruit showing the vintage, but a nice core of acidity underneath. No tartness though. Moderate finish. Slightly darker red fruit profile than other Goodfellow/Matello wines. Very good, should improve. 91+
