Very dark opaque purple/ruby. Thick viscous legs in the glass. Nose has cassis, pencil shavings, dark ripe currants, some chocolate, and a nice oaky backbone with slight alcohol lift. Palate is nicely structured and balanced with creme de cassis, perfectly ripened dark fruit, spicy oaky notes and high alcohol. Pleasant grippy tannins and a long complex finish. Good stuff!

Decanted for 90 minutes but needed more. Saving some for the next day.

PNP with dinner. Minimal air. Nice nose of blackberry and cassis. Smooth dark fruits mixed with gravel and earth. Medium in body. Not particularly complex or layered but enjoyable.

2 hr decant. Bright purple, garnet red. Sensational Aromas of Raspberry w/dark chocolate pastry, blackberries, wet gravel of AO Rutherford, forest floor and hints of vanilla. Bold, Dense fruit is shrouded by sweet earth and soil, with little bit of mushrooms. Tannins are grippy and dusty leading to a fabulous dark cocoa finish.

Bold reddish purple beauty that is terroir driven. Wonderful earthy nuances, fresh soil, gravel, sweet dirt, dust of dark cocoa, smoky black cherries and plums. Smooth on palate, tightly knit and focused. Sweet tobacco notes emerging after 3 hrs. Chalky tannins on long finish. I would hold a few bottles for years! Jean H. has crafted a fabulous wine AGAIN! Cheers

Super hardcore what you think of Napa. Big fruit. Opened and decanted and I tried to wait a bit of time to get to it. It was a touch hot and lots of fruit and very big. Nice in that style, but it’s not really my style at the moment.

Gorgeous hedonistic cab-blend, lots of leather, cassis, cigar, smoke, vanilla; rich, dark, smooth, classic high-end Napa cab-style. Very fun to compare the SQN and this side by side. But after some of the old great world wines, the oak and syrupy cab juice got a little tiring. Still, enjoyed this with the Langham burger. Langham Hotel with Yarom, Larry, Seba, Jonathan

We opened it as part of an Alpha Omega virtual tasting. It was better second day after Tannen settled since it was really too early to drink. Strong notes of chocolate and black cherry. Gorgeous color and very rich.
