Need a bit of time to open up but smooth tannins and dark fruit forward makes it easy to drink. Oak, vanilla, leathery complementary flavors. Falls a bit flat on the acidity but makes up for it a bit by the complexity of flavors at this price point, solid qpr at $25

Medium ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas of blackberry, cherry, cream, licorice, mint, pepper, plum, strawberry, vanilla. Med-plus body, with med-plus tannins and med-plus acidity. Palate adds oak, a soft and silky mouthfeel, and a dry finish. 76% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot (21%), Petit Verdot (2%), and Malbec (1%).

Very nice. Medium body, dry, sandalwood, toasty. Reminds of some of the old BR Cohn wines.

Enjoyed in La Jolla. Smooth flavorful. Nothing offensive about it. Worth buying again but would prefer at $20, not $25

$10 via K&L Clearance. Lighter style of cabernet. Medium bodied and dry, with notes of plum, blackberry, dark cherry, and toasty oak. Well balanced and delicious. Wish I had bought more.

Good showing. Round, full-bodied, and richly textured, with dark cherries, blackberries, gentle oak, and a hint of melted chocolate. Tasty and easy to drink.

Drinking very well right now. Soft with some complexity. Has chocolate, cinnamon and figs. Excellent for the price and quite food friendly.

Aromas of blackberry, currant, melted chocolate and black cherry. Flavors of blackberry, currant, touch of iron, cherry and hint of mocha. Ends with a long blackberry infused finish of 20-25 seconds. Pretty consistent with the first note. Great Cab for the money.

Decanted and drank. Aromas of blackberry, currant, black cherry and touch of leather. Flavors of blackberry, black cherry, touch of plum, currant and bit of earth. Ends with a blackberry and plum finish of 25 seconds. This is a big wine for the money and a superb value. Wow.

After getting nothing from the BR Cohn deal this was the restructing in order to have a job. And this includes a lot from Faust. 54% Napa, 26% Sonoma and then a little Alex.

One hour decant. Deep magenta color. Red cherry, menthol, prune, vanilla frosting and very subtle salami (no joke) on the extracted nose. Smooth palate and round tannins on the medium finish. The extraction is always the problem for me...
