Brassy gold. Tropical fruit, peach, slate. Strong bitter edge, fruit is reticent, some lack of mid-palate, nice oak on medium finish. Ei liked, "different". Day 2 update: Lack of mid-palate has now expanded to the finish, which is short. Lack of fruit and slightly out of balance savory and bitter elements.
