I kept this forever, but it remained true, good fruit and smooth finish

Was Magnum actually. Aired for 2 hours prior. Smooth, silky tannins complemented by cassis, plum and blackberry preserves. Served at dinner for 10 with flank steak and French chicken.

On first opening, had typical cab tones without being overly oaky. After a few days, was better. Excellent value. Seems ready to drink with decanting, or waiting a bit is fine.

Nice berry nose, flavor shows black currants and cedar notes, good value in a readily available offering.

A good mid-week wine. Somewhat feminine. Soft, floral aromatics lifted by red fruit, soft oak, and dusty earth. Dry, toasty palate is marked by fine-grained tannin and a savory element to the cherry and raspberry flavors. Moderate finish.

A hair shy of very good. Start with a sweet kiss of cherry and quickly mellows. Medium body.

Needs decanting for a couple of hours and then the berry flavors emerge and helps balance the alcohol.

Second serve of our dinner at a friends house: Nose: Field berries jam, cassis and black pepper along with high alcohol aroma Palate: Cassis, Red cherry, black pepper. Very simple wine that has a tannic oaky finish. Not my favorite Sonoma Cab but satisfying with Filet Mignon 87 Voila !

Had with Montreal seasoned sirloin steak....Nice nose...full bodied and just now coming into it's own....fruity and jammy flavor. Overall very good and reasonably priced.

I felt this was a strong wine and within it's drinking window. My wife disagreed.

Had with steak kabobs and the smoothness and roundness of this wine complimented the steak, peppers, and onion of the Montreal seasoned kabob. Very good QPR.

Not much of a bouquet. Rich, fruit forward. Makes me feel like I need to brush my teeth...but hey, I like that. Super smooth, goes well with red meat. Drank with coffee & spice rubbed filet mignon (which was outstanding, by the way.) It held up to the spice.

Opened on Friday night and had one glass with Kristy. Both of us felt that it was harsh and too hot with alcohol. Consumed the rest of the bottle on Sunday night. Two days rest really opened this wine up. Black cherry flavor. This is a good wine, just let it breath for a couple of hours.

Servicable cab, but nothing to get excited about. The tannins are there, but I don't think there's enough fruit that age or decant will help.

I found it a little harsh on the nose. Nicely rounded and dry. Next time I think I'll let it decant a few hours before drinking. It Went very well with steak it's dryness mixed well with the fattiness of the steak to make a really wonderful experience. Might become the go to red meat red wine for the price.

Nice body that held it's own over three days. A surprisingly good value. Looking for reviews of newer vintages.

Very bland for my learning taste buds. More on the dry side. Tannins were very harsh. Definitely needs a lot of air time. Several years in the cellar will do it some good.

Had this over two nights and seemed like two totally differnt wines. Way too tight the first nnight too much tannin but really opened up the second night. this was surprising because I used our vinturi both nights!!! Good balance of fruit and oak. Not overly complex, but good value. Be sure to decant and be patient

Had this wine at Tastebuds with Shrimp and Grits (a mismatch) but it was very easy to drink - smooth - dark - lovely sweet fruit flavors - not tannic - quite nice - round -
