We enjoy So Rhône’s and this is fun. It shows the state’s versatility and Upchurch’s immense chops as a winemaker. Excellent a decade in, and this will be better in 5 more with good cellaring. Love that he leads the blend with Mourvèdre.

2015 vintage

This was cellared well and was the better for it. An enjoyable table wine that paired nicely. DeLille’s winemakers can get the best of so many varietals. A delightful Rhône blend.

2014 vintage

This wine did not age well. While it does have a pretty red-fruited nose, the wine is hot on the nose and hot on the palate. Dense body, lacks acid, short finish.

Drank with sausage mushroom quiche. Great pairing. PnP. Red fruit (raspberry, cherry and maybe dark plum) is wrapped around lovely tannins. Very balanced, but just rustic enough. (Although it did take a few minutes to settle in the glass.). Finish was lengthy.

December 9,2021. Drank from Bin south 9. Dinner with Aline, Audrey and Thomas. Rhone blend, 37% Grenache, 40% Mourvèdre, 19% Syrah, cinsault 4%. Chalk oak nose. Dark purple. Dry chalk presentation soft even touch of plum on finish. 6/10. Lovely aged wine.

Great with Thanksgiving meal (we're GSM fans, so this would be great with most thing. Maybe not breakfast cereal.) Still young to our taste. Give it air of course.

Still not impressed at 3rd bottle; lacking fruit and richness. Downgrade a point for failing to mature positively. 1/24/2019 note: Restrained for GSM and for Metier, so I’m not much impressed. Mid-palate is good, but that’s not enough to carry it. 3 left to see how it evolves. 89 pts.

silky, great nose, deep garnet color, medium finish. Still has acid on the tongue, so life left in my mind. Drinking window appropriate and nice wine. Def medium finish.

Great summer red wine. prefer the Mouvedre dominant. Light, Fruity, just a bit tart on finish but otherwise great wine.

We had this after dinner on 1/19/19. It had a subtle, elegant nose of raspberry, cherry, smoke, toast, pepper and spice aromas. The palate was light, elegant and balanced with flavors that followed the nose.

GSM, 14.5% alcohol, almost black, syrupy, dark chocolate, not much fruit, chocolate, vegetal, no finish. I don’t like it.

The color of the wine is dark red. The nose shows red fruit. On the palate the wine is full of dark berry flavors, moderate tannin, good balance and moderate long finish.

Lovely Rhone blend. Solid fruit (mostly berries) presence throughout, fairly classic. Jammy, peppery, with a hint of meatiness.

My nephew and I tasted this at the Carriage House tasting room on 5/26/18. It had a rich, fragrant bouquet of raspberry, cherry, strawberry, mocha, vanilla and spice aromas. The palate was rich and elegant with flavors of mocha, raspberry, black cherry, vanilla, spice and minerals

A surprising relative-QPR standout during a tasting room tasting, so grabbed a few bottles to cover the fee. Smooth and fruity. I’d say early in its life but approachable now.

My wife and I tasted this at the Carriage House tasting room on 12/22/17. It had shy, reserved bouquet of smoke, toast, black cherry, raspberry, strawberry, licorice, spice and minerals. The palate was rich and elegant with flavors that followed the nose. 91+
