Boekenhoutskloof, Wolftrap Syrah Mourvedre Viognier, Swartland

Very dark colour. Good, dark fruit on the nose - damsons, mainly. A rich palate, again showing juicy damson fruit together with plenty of attractive spice. A long palate and good balance of soft tannin with subtle oak influence. We both liked this and both found it better some time after opening; it softened nicely without losing any character.
