This is made from Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira, which were both a little unexpected in Spain for me. Pretty deep purple/garnet color. Animalic notes of horsesaddle, some earth, but also dark fruit of blackberry, some blueberry and darker cherries, also some tobacco leaf. Pretty good persistence, especially in this price range. It‘s medium-full bodied, with medium+ tannin that is good quality and medium+ acidity adding good freshness. Medium-long finish.
