much better than i recall. decent backbone and length, fruits still a little muted, but a good wine on a hot summer's night.

quite yellow in colour. well developed nose of honey and citrus fruits. quite acidic, in a good way. perhaps lacking a little on the fruits and the finish, while lengthy, has an unusual hint of bitterness, though it isn't unpleasant. went very well with smoked mackerel and rocket.
