11.3% ABV. PNP into Riedel white wine glass (“Fruit” day): Medium golden with cloudiness. Preserved citrus fruits like lemons with peels. Florals. Cornflakes. High acidity, salty minerality, clean finish. 94 points easy.

Næse:engelsk vingummi, kandiseret, let smørduft, dufter ikke meget andet end vingummi og lidt syrligt stikkelsbær Smag: frisk syltet citron og syrlig fersken. God syreintegration. Hvis fad så meget lidt. Pæn mineralitet der gør vinen hænger i munden i lang tid. Så viser det sig også en mere umoden frugtnote. Dejligt balance mellem syre og fedme.

Troisieme Tirage. Bright and energetic, almost citrus driven. Would not call this as being from a warm vintage. Tiny hint of VA, but I dig this, especially when first opened.

Piercing acidity, lemon pith, good amount of minerality. Tiny hint of malo, very well integrated. Had similar Chardonnay from the Jura (not ones that shoot for the more oxidative feel, rather those that exhibit lots of VA and so on) but none that have felt as balanced.

Belle trame saline et minérale. Aromatique un peu en retrait, ça reste très agréable mais pas des plus expressif

Another bottle of this a few weeks later. Nice showing. This one a bit more advanced with nice nutty notes. Delicious with pasta of courgettes and peas.

Opened two bottles: One was off (yeast, VA, stinky), but the second was quite nice, mellow, some oxidative notes, subtle chard flavors. Very pleasing, though definitely no upside here.

This is an apple cider-y, oxidative wine with a hint of effervescence. Easy-drinking and uncomplex, but a good match to food. The wine looks orange colored. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like apple. The body is medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Jura is never dull. The sharp (almost effervescent) acidity and pure apples on the palate is reminiscent of a hard cider. Not very giving aromatically, there's plenty of complexity on the palate: from tart apples through violets and finally ending with an almond finish, there's plenty to enjoy (and contemplate!) here.
