Recanati Syrah Reserve

Deep ruby color. Blueberry, Raspberry and smoke on the nose. On the palate minerals, black fruits and some bitterness. Full body, medium+ tannins, medium acidity. Very good but I was expecting something better.

5 years after the harvest, still significant tannin and bitterness, overshadowing the character expected from a good Syrah.
