A Mouchao Sunday started white, ended red with this blend of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Shiraz that grew up over 24 months in 300 lier French oak barrels and spent another year in the bottle before release. Light garnet colour on the eye. Aromas of roses, sweet red cherries, pepper and toast. Palate light but rustic, broad-shouldered tannins and a long slightly tangy finish. Great QPR.

A blend of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Syrah. Aged for 24 months in 300 liter oak casks. Concentrated reddish-black appearance with very little translucency. Quite tightly-knit, somewhat inky and rather dark-toned nose with aromas of peppery Syrah, stemmy green tones, some crunchy dark berries, a little bit of plummy fruit, a hint of tar and a perfumed touch of floral Touriga character.
