Drank this in situ in 3 Vallées at dinner after a fine day of skiing, so I am trying hard to subtract the typical “on-vacation” scoring bump. Anyways the muted aromatics of this wine are its weak point (I got cranberry and a faint bit of steak tartare and smokiness); its nicely balanced mouthfeel and persistent but gentle acidic finish are its selling points.
