Domaine de Saint Pierre (Fabrice Dodane) Ploussard Arbois

Unclear rhubarb-red, wild bouquet initially with strawberries. Definitely natural. Clearly aged palate. A bit watery perhaps and the fine strawberry notes are only hinted. The rest is structure with medium acidity and pronounced tannic grip. Good finish. Has peaked and should be finished.

12% ABV. PNP into Lobmeyr glass (“No” day): Pale purplish ruby to the eyes. Reduction upfront. Red cherries. Dried florals and herbal, white spices. Mint Saline minerality on palate with bruised cherries. Need time to open if uncorking now but would age beautifully for 5-10 years easy. 94 points.

Red berries, spice, barnyard. Not very lively though, maybe going through a quiet phase.
