Raspberry, cherry, pomegranate and spice on the finish. We had this with grilled pork sausages and a sautéed pepper, spring onion and garlic mixture. It was a good pairing with the sausage and even better with the spaghetti and marinara sauce.

An Outdoor Clam Bake : Drinking quite well, still. Raspberry, cherry, perhaps a little pomegranate and melon too, and some spice at the end. Much better in narrow glasses (think syrah glasses, which is one of the grapes) than in the burgundy / rose glasses we used in the past. A great pairing with the outdoor clam bake, especially with the kielbasa and the potatoes in it, as well as the clams and mussels. And with warm weather. Great value. …
