Sweet with good walnut and oak vask. Well balanced fresh acid. Not very complex. Well balanced lenght.

Belle robe rouge orangé. Porto très complexe sur des arômes de caramel, pruneau, datte, raisin sec et noix. Enrobant et long en bouche, amertume de la noix et alcool présent, mais pas dérangeant.

Offley and Ferreira Pairings (Sammamish, Washington) : Dark amber-orange in color. Vanilla, cherry cough drop, light spice, and some light medicinal notes on the nose. Raspberry and red fruit on the approach. Slight astringent sourness and some sharp acidity, but the wine mellows out on the long finish.

Dark tawny colour, sweet nose of red fruit and alcohol. The palate has dried red cherry and strawberry juice, some oak spice and not much else. Disappointing for a 10 year old tawny

Decent quality tawny, nothing special but OK as a weeknight glass.

Très sucré. Peu d'évolution et de complexité.

Overall, a bit disappointed in this. Flavor just off of what I expect from Port.

Not very interesting nose, mainstream tawny notes. Oaky notes from the casks which is the most 30 years tawny style in this port. Medium acid. Not much complexity here.

Not overly sweet or anything, easy to drink, lacks some dimension. Tasted a little like cough syrup. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

Superbes notes de noisette, caramel mou et sucre d’orge. Beaucoup plus long et doux après quelques semaines ouverte.

Very good for a 10 year old Tawny, flavorful, cannot go wrong for the price

Light robe Tasted like caramel going down the throat. Good with Quebec cheese.

On super-special offer so I couldn't resist - whilst I don't necessarily regret that, this is too sweet, to simple, to goopey, too uninteresting - worth the 9€, but only just.

Muddy brown colur. Sweet red fruit nose, the palate delivers the same but with some peppery spice on the finish. Decent and great value at 5 euros a bottle in Portugal.

Deep garnet, nice legs; crème brule, blueberries, stewed fruit, orange marmalade, vanilla; kirsch liquor, pruney, burnt sugar, nutty, creamy, medium-full body, citrusy acidity, good heat, ripe tannins, long finish Berry and pruney with lots of secondary notes and nicely integrated 20% alcohol (that hit later). Long nutty finish went well with cocoa almonds. Wonderful stuff! WOTY.

Medium+ intensity on the nose, notes of raisin, brown sugar, caramel, nut. Palate of raisin, brown sugar, peach, syrup, chocolate caramel, spice.

Porto. Malgré des qualités évidentes, je suis de moins en moins attiré par le porto. Ce qui explique la faible proportion de ce vin dans ma cave. Néanmoins, de la cassonade et un peu de cuir. La finale est douce.

I've had this very nice tawny open for the last week, sipping a bit after dinner each night. Transparent appearance with a ruby core and heavy bricking leading to a lightly orange rim. In other words 'tawny' in appearance. I think I like it best after it has been open for a week and with a light chill on it, just above cellar temperature. Nose is of cherries in syrup and brandy dusted with cocoa and baking spice, fresh baked …

2013 Port Harvest Tour; 9/27/2013-10/6/2013 (Porto, Portugal) : Dark amber in color. Leather and cigar box on the nose. Incredible mouth-puckering intensity of flavors on the mid-palate. Orange peel on the very long finish.
Taster #1640 · May 6, 2013
A light burnt orange color, about 30% saturated. Aromas of perfume and marmalade. Medium-light weight body, gentle burn, and medium sweetness complemented by nut and smoke notes. I think it works better with dessert and food than it does with a cigar.

Nice fruit, shades of tawny character, but could use more time in cask to develop. What you'd expect of a younger tawny.

Understand that I am NOT a fan of sweet wines I have to say that this is a good tawny port. Light sweetness to accompany the nuttiness of a good tawny. Decent finish. I have had better Tawny port but not at this price so this is the clear winner for an affordable tawny port.

Somewhat tame; weak nose, mild on the palate with tiny hints of spice & fruit. Finish unimpressive.

Decanted and drunk over 2 days. Showed itself best after 24h in decanter, a bit closed with prominent alcohol right after opening. At first not impressive but improved significantly after a day's decanting. Lovely smells of dried fruits with fig being prominent. Sweet taste with toffee, caramel and a hint of vanilla extract, with a satisfyingly full texture, though a bit on the light side for a 30 year old tawny. Tried it with some blue cheese with great success, …
