Gran Moraine Extended Tirage

Really lovely - a great example of the excellent sparkling standard coming out of Oregon these days. Light pink with subtle but distinct red fruit flavors, a warmth and textural depth from the extended time on lees that belies its light color and dryness, and a lingering finish that brings smiles well after the sip is over. For this price, this competes admirably with a bunch of good champagnes. I will look for more.

Aromas: rose water, bubble gum, prickly pear, guava, orange creamsicle. Flavors: White raspberry, starfruit, golden berry, marzipan, gooseberry.

First off this is not the wineries standard brut rose, which is a fantastic wine in its own right, but instead is what the winery has quietly labeled as 'The Lost Brut Rose'.
