Tasted 4-11-09. Pale clear straw color. Nose of honey, more honey, more honey, and beeswax honeycomb. Although honey is a roussanne aromatic hallmark, this glass was memorable; it smelled more strongly like honey than honey actually does. The nose calmed down slightly with airtime & evinced a strong element of lime blossom, with some apricot/mango and ripe cantaloupe underpinnings. Really nice red apple, lychee. Seemed slightly off dry but in a good way. One of the best Roussanne wines I've had from CA.
