An old world Burgundy nose of dry and mineral red fruits, graceful roses and some toasted spiced oak providing a good foundation to carry the aromatics. This needed an hour of decanting for the initial disjointed elements to harmonise. Palate is not as elegant as what the nose suggested as the tannins are fairly grippy still.
