Was really worried as the cork was wet and the wine had been seeping out of the bottle, apparent for some time. And yet it was marvelous! Really muscular, stony, steely and powerful.

Cork. 12.5% alc. Opens with bright tropical fruits. Pineapple, pear, peach. Balanced palate with good drive. The fruit sweetness balanced with a dry finish. With time in the glass, shows some attractive candy notes.

Nice and dry and powerful but perhaps past its prime already? Was not expecting it to age this fast.

Oh this is really beginning to hit its straps. It’s really dry and smoky, fiery, reductive, with cinder toffee, apple, peach - really rugged and dry. Muscular.

One of few winter weekends when I was craving for white juice and I am happy I found this one, also a great pair with chicken and veggies wok with teriyaki sauce. Pale golden colour with green hue. Medium intensity mineral aroma of petrol, wet stone, lemon peel, apricots, floral and honeyed nuances. Palate is fresh, fragrant and mirroring aroma with heavy mineral profile which goes in balance with fruity green flavours and zesty juicy acidity.

Stone fruits, lemon, wet stones. Nice texture here.

Not much on the nose, but the palate is really distinctive, sherbety entry with loads of crushed hazelnuts, roast peaches and peach skin, red apple, caramel. Dry.

Nose: simple aromas of subdued under ripe fruit, green apples, white flowers Mouth: high acid, dry, medium alcohol and body, medium/low fruit concentration, a lot of lemon in the mouth with a refreshing sitrus driven finish. Conclusion: not the most simple Riesling, neither a very elegant one.

Bone dry. Initially very tense and closed. Lashings of wet stones, lemon juice, searing acidity. With plenty of air some peachiness and faint biscuitty notes. Clean persistent finish.

100% fermented in oak, picked about three weeks riper. Their monopole. That is pretty darn awesome notes Scott and that is indeed the case. Fruity or up front fruit.

[28 18] Tasted after Klosterberg. More herbal and mineral on the nose, less fruit-driven. Good intensity on the palate, almost saline with lots of energy and depth. Very fine. 92-93+
