Pretty good, especially for $4.99 at Trader Joe's. A strong smokey/leathery taste over fruity flavors.

#Snochi Wines : A juicy, ripe and fresh Cab Sauv, with notes of cola, cherry pie topping and fig paste. Surprisingly fresh with acid to balance out the pancake syrup, charcoal and plum cake flavors.

A lot of sweet fruit but also plenty of cherry cola and red licorice. Decent acidity. A tad less honed than their Cab Sauv but another good bottle from this producer.

A little sweet, a little tart, and has nice acidity. A light but identifiable Cab Sauv profile. Really quite good for the price. Would buy again.

Stronger on the palate than on the nose. Red fruit, black pepper, and smoked meat. Healthy acid and minimal tannins. The fruit quickly all but disappeared, leaving this one-dimensional but still with good intensity for $5.

Great wine for the cost. A little tannic when you first open, but once it mellows, it's great.

At first taste, I thought this was a little thin and light. Started to change my mind once it got some air, and time in the glass. By no means a blockbuster, but if you give it a chance, you can enjoy some pretty classic Cabernet flavors. Dark, but not exactly rich red color. The nose has quick, distinct blackberry, with some blueberry, and a hint of crushed tree bark. The barely medium bodied fruit is soft black cherry, and …

Not exactly my favorite style of Aussie Shiraz. I get too much molasses and vanilla for my palate. I have to admit, as you drink down the glass, with a little swirling, this quite young wine gets lots more interesting. I'm at home, and literally, in mid sentence, decided to decant, and glad I did. Immediately, that molasses overtone turned into Christmas spiced blue fruit. Some roof of the mouth coating, slightly unripe red raspberry starts to appear. Still some …
