Dos Cabezas Wine Works El Norte

nice spicy nose with rhubarb, cherry and smoky plumb. very balanced mouth with more red fruit and spice, good acidity and pleasant finish. very red and bright wine tonight.

Much lighter and sweeter than I remember it being at the winery. Not really sure why I bought it.

earth nose with red fruits, a touch too much acidity for me. might have faired better with some time

this wine suprized me, for a second time. It is good. as I open the bottle I got a whiff of grape jam, but this soon replace by a much more earthy nose. a little barnyard, some sweaty sock, strawberryy and some stoniness. although this may sound awful, I couldn't resist the urde to keep smelling. the mouth was no less enjoyable. strawberries, red licorice, mint. a good dabble of acid. nice medium finish with just a touch of bitterness …
