Not blind Reductive, saline , gun powder, balanced. 95-96

Classic white burg profile of citrus and pear with white button mushroom under a bit of smoky reduction on a bed of dried hay and brioche through the finish. Really nice line of acidity keeping everything bright and fresh. Great intensity.

Paired beautifully with seared chicken in tarragon and mustard cream sauce. Lots of chalk, flint, and floral character on the nose. Beautifully balanced fruit and minerals, with a substantial texture and quite a lengthy finish. A superb bottle enjoyed in superb company.

shared this bottle with best friends. Opens up after an hour and it blooms like gardenia and lily. balanced (just as batard does) and oily, you can feel the body yet it seems zero weight surrounding the tongue. fantastic and finish with lots of "wow"...

Pale gold with green tint. Citrus, stone fruit, honeysuckle and minerality. Bottle still in infant stage, but the wine was bright with precision and finesse, and exploded in the mouth with acid and minerality. Very long finish. We opened a bottle of Marc Morey Chassagne village 2020 to compare, and the village one was more developed and less complex.
