God I love Dominque's wines, and I pulled this for a vacation golf trip with the guys, thinking I was bringing the 2015. But when I read the bottle etch for this note, I see it's the 2018. An evening with good food, great people and amazing wine (Where the silence is longed for) : Aromas of yellow fruits, clean minerals along with clean and beautiful grassy notes, and some dry hay. On the palate were deeper yellow fruits, dry minerals, fruited straw and some watered stones. Particularly enjoyed the texture of this on the palate.

I'll join csimm with a note. Disgorged January 2021, farmed biodynamic, no dosage from a blend of 70% Chard and 30% Pinot Blanc. First time tasting the 2018, and I have to agree with him that this bottle is worthy of praise. Yeah, there is a crispness here, but that for me is one of the compelling reasons I buy and drink so much Marie-Courtin: freshness, acidity and purity, all working well together. 70% Chardonnay. 30% Pinot Blanc. 2018 vintage. Zero dosage. Bottle stamped “LP18D0121ND”. No other markings on the label or the bottle. I’m going to guess that 18 is the vintage reference (though I’m not sure what the preceding LP means). D might mean disgorgement, with January of 2021 being the disgorge date.
