A Superfood buy. I suspect it's a few vintages older than the current release. It's yummy and very enjoyable. Color. Dark red with a rich purple tint. Nose. Leathery currants, cherries, iodine, no alcohol burn. Very rich. Palate. Full bodied wine. With currants, cocoa, blackberries, and a huge long finish. Very yummy. Not terribly complex. But enjoyable.

Bursting with berry fruitiness; an unfussy but well balanced velvety Malbec showing the best of Argentina; less tannic than the French variety. Great

Pnp. Under composite cork. Pours dark purple. Young and yeasty, fruity and raw meaty on the nose. Underneath that the fruit is pure, ripe blackberries with hints of graphite, cocoa powder and stiff leather. Medium-full bodied, gobs of ripe fruit extract, good acidity, smooth tannins and a touch of bitterness at the end. All crushed blackberries on the palate with those same secondary notes as on the nose. Finishes fruity, crunchy and slightly off dry. A bit rambunctious yet tastey.
