Ordered a bottle over dinner at Ristorante Enoteca Dente in Asti. Delighted to find this uncommon wine. Don't think I would ever have a chance to try a Barbera del Monferrato in Singapore otherwise. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, beautiful purple colour, with fine bubbles. Frizzante. Thin legs. Nose is clean, light intensity, with aromas of clean red cherry fruit and freshly cut grass.
